Blackberry Fair is a Community Interest Group based in Whitchurch, North Shropshire. We're trying to creatively regenerate our Market Town community. If we sound Worthy, WE'RE NOT. We just dare to be different - it's about getting our hands mucky, cooking compost, brewing our own and digging for fire. We've done all kinds of stuff with our events from building allotments and orchards in the Market Hall to creating a Fairtrade shack and running with an unhinged street procession in 2010.
Whether it's the community, environment or economy that beats your drum, this fun adventure was set up to show that these big issues are linked and that each is as important as the other. If you'd like to join us at a market event, or if you'd like to be a part of the wider group, then please get in touch.

To creatively regenerate Whitchurch, working in partnership with other organisations where appropriate. We are building a new tradition and we work with open eyes and ears to forge a new and exciting future for our town. Oh, and we like to have lots of fun while we're doing it. We're not really as po-faced as we might sound from this!
We're "selling" a sustainable future and having big fun along the way. Don't think we're a bunch of chin-strokers like we might sound here (that's just the stuff we have to say) - we're far too busy having fun with this thing to be worthy.
